Vertical garden irrigation
Also the irrigation of the vertical wall will depend on the species used and the mode of use. In the case of climbing plants, in fact, irrigation will simply be carried out on the ground, or in the pots where the plants are planted, and from there it will be the whole structure of the plant to benefit from it.
More complex is the case of the wall built with metal cages: the fundamental necessity, in this case, given the lack of soil available, is that of not creating washouts with excessive irrigations, while maintaining a good soil moisture. To solve this problem, the dripping wing is used, an irrigation system that spreads the water by capillarity, does not create runoff and therefore maintains the soil structure intact. You can choose whether to let the water reach a single dripline at the top of the wall, from which the water spreads by capillarity going down the whole structure, or if you insert a dripping wing at each level constituted by the overlapping of the cages metal.
